Job Description: Project Manager

Project Manager, Llansamlet, Swansea (Hybrid)

Our client is a globally recognised Cyber Security Training organisation that has secured a number of significant contracts to deliver projects and programmes across the UK, Europe and international markets.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide comprehensive project support and ensure the successful delivery of multiple programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, documentation, resources, and information systems while supporting stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme and Product Development Support

  • Support the scoping of potential projects, programmes and academies, agreeing action plans with management.
  • Provide programme design and development support.
  • Work closely with management to ensure programme schedules are aligned with regional requirements and local considerations.
  • Contribute to product development discussions and identify potential market opportunities.

Project Coordination and Delivery

  • Provide full project lifecycle support across multiple programmes.
  • Develop, implement, and proactively manage clear and effective project plans within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Support project initiation activities, including kick-off meetings and implementation planning.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Coordinate the successful setup and operation of programmes and pilot projects, including resources, licensing, training courses, communications, reporting, partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and deadlines are achieved.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering excellent customer and relationship management.
  • Maintain effective information management systems, including version control for programmes, projects, and events.
  • Monitor and report project and programme expenditure.
  • Identify, manage, and report project risks and issues while documenting lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure project activities are delivered in line with agreed objectives, best practice standards, and measures of time, cost, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Produce regular reports, dashboards, and project updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Deliver meaningful programme impact reports through effective monitoring, evaluation, and performance measurement, including the use of case studies and statistical analysis.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience supporting and coordinating both small and large-scale projects or programmes particularly within the Private Sector.
  • Strong experience in project risk and issue management.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and prioritise multiple activities while working to strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Desirable Experience

  • Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluation, impact measurement and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, regions, cultures or time zones.
  • Previous experience supporting education, training, skills development or similar programmes.
  • An interest in, or understanding of, Cyber Security would be advantageous.

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (Hybrid)
