Job Description: Finance Assistant
Finance Assistant, £30,000pa, Cardiff (4 day working week)
Working for this Global Engineering specialist you will take responsibility for the Finance transactions on behalf of the company.
Main duties as Finance Assistant include:
- Responsible for the invoicing of goods/services to UK & USA customers
- Reviewing, processing and invoicing of travel expenses to customers
- Chasing UK and USA customers for upcoming and overdue invoices
- Bank Reconciliations on Xero/Quickbooks including credit cards
- Inputting and filing of overhead bills onto Xero/Quickbooks.
- Creating a weekly payroll sheet, checking relevant wage sheets and inputting to payroll
- Responsible for completion of account applications for new customers
- Responsible for the financial aspect of project archiving and obtaining sign off from the Engineering Manager
- Deputise for the Office Manager during planned and unplanned periods of absence
Experience and Qualifications as Finance Assistant:
- Knowledge of Xero and/or Quickbooks would be preferred
- Preferably knowledge of Scoro project management software
- Competent in MS Office
- Self-disciplined and capable of working under pressure
- Able to work independently and using own initiative
