Job Description: Finance Assistant
Finance Assistant (hybrid*)
Working for this Global Cyber Security company, the successful person will work closely with the Accounts Payable Team handling all financial transactions on behalf of the company including reconciliation, monthly reporting and processing supplier invoices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Invoice and Bank Reconciliations.
- Processing all payments including supplier invoices together with completion of wire transfer forms for each payment and cost/code allocation.
- Carry out routine monthly reporting duties including in-depth analysis into any discrepancies
- Monitoring any expenditure against agreed budgets.
- Assist and verify Purchase Order requests – manage all pre-event paperwork via the verification process.
- Credit Control – Generate weekly unpaid reports for Stakeholders with any supporting narrative.
- Carry out various ad hoc accounting duties as and when required.
- Provide cover for the Facilities coordinator during holidays/absences.
Experience/Qualification required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Finance department carrying out a similar role
- Have or be working towards a recognised Finance qualification such as AAT
- Educated to degree standard
- Competent in MS Office, especially Excel, Teams/Zoom.
